August 18. Wave Hill, Bronx.
Last week I spent every day in the Bronx, and on one of those days I went to my favorite park in that borough. I wait all summer to visit the aquatic garden at Wave Hill. It looks best in the late summer and fall when the water lilies bloom. This frog sat by the lily for only a few moments before disappearing.

Thanks, Mapelba. I don't know if I feel confident exactly, but I do know I'm having a blast making these drawings. It is really a fun project, And I like the sound of the wooden pencils in my metal pencil box.
