August 9. A flower garden not too far from my place.I started this picture just before the rain started. The shower didn't last long, but a few plops fell on the page as I drew. Later we had a downpour, but by that time I was at home.

My grandmother had a large circle of these flowers in her backyard. They circled a tree.
Pretty.
I must admit that lilies are not my favorite flower, but they are great for practicing color.
