You might be interested in the following workshop in pastels being offered at Wave Hill on Tuesdays. You can take a single class or enroll for the full session.
Autumn Landscapes in Pastel - 6 sessions:
Capture the changing colors of late summer and autumn through the vivid palette of soft pastels, with artist Wennie Huang. Classes are conducted outdoors, weather permitting, to take full advantage of Wave Hill's unique vistas. All levels welcome. Series starts Sept. 9 and continues on September 16, 23 and October 7, 14 and 21.

Thanks for the info about the classes and for commenting. Wave Hill is one of my favorite places, and it's a great setting to practice drawing.
